The Incline Village golf course first opened for play in 1964. The course was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan.
The back nine, known as their signature nine, was built in 1964. The back presents Zoysia tee boxes and fairways with small bentgrass greens demanding accurate approach shots. This nine is routed around lakes and ponds - water will come into play on 6 of the 9 holes, most notable the 11th, with an island green. The front 9 is by no means easy, but the back nine holds the real challenge. The front nine, recently built in 1994, offers lush, tree-lined Zoysia tee boxes and fairways, and medium sized, undulating, bentgrass greens.
